I’ve been finding myself in a better position lately. While not entirely out of the woods, I am far better off than I have been. With starting a new job, and getting the first stable work that pays alright in about three years, I am starting to get my head back on straight.
There are scripts in the works. One of which is a gift to an artist I’ve been blessed to work with and has been a big help with me during the downtime. More on that later.
Finally was able to finish paying another artist to help out with a short, 4-page comic to release later. This will be my first piece that I will ask for payment on. I am hoping that incorporating these will help offset the cost toward my artist collaborators and a way for me to commission more work to go along with my stories.
Voice scripts are an interesting exercise for me. I’ve listened to plenty of them for all sorts: Podcasts, Audio Dramas, etc.
Got a new, portable workstation for my writing and now adding drawing! I am hoping to get more done this way, especailly not having to lug around a full on drawing tablet with an already chunky HP EliteBook. I am enjoying what I have!
Will I be able to add more doodles to things? Who knows!
