I know there’s been a lot more of you showing up, and I couldn’t be happier! I have some great news that I hope you will enjoy!
Scripts! Scripts Galore!
I am in the mid to final stages of my current comic script. I don’t want to release the details yet, but I am very excited to get to work with the artist I am teaming up with! Currently waiting to hear back from my Beta Readers to make sure everything’s polished, and the plan is to get started mid-September on the artwork!
In the meantime, I am doing legwork for a few other ideas. I want to try audio scripts again. I have an idea for a more mainstream sort of thing that plays on the strengths of the VA’s I am hoping to enlist. I know one is ready to go, but the other may need to look at scheduling.
There are a few fan comics I’ve thought about scripting out for a few folks. Maybe not as long as the one I just finished, but I am open to seeing where it goes.
Too Damn Hot Here
Summer is getting ready to wrap up, but I am cautiously optimistic about how my writing schedule will be. I am taking the opportunities I can to get things done here and there.
Keeping an eye out for the final few commissions that I put out to friends, and then have to start saving to build what I need to for upcoming projects. I am doing my best to be as was imparted to me by Brian Pulido (Creator of Lady Death comics) by making sure to pay my artists. I really want to do a great job, and I know the team I am putting together will do that!
Now I have to look at the large storage tub of back issues of things to bag and board. I may need to sell what I am not going to get around to, especially those whom I don’t feel like trying to look for 20 or more back issues of because publishers wouldn’t always deliver what we order to the local shop.
